Nothing to do with logic but everything to do with the jealousy of older generations. But understand, those college Gen Zers are No Child Left Behind diplomas. If you don't know what that means, the public and private school system, as well as home school diploma requirement exams, lowered the standards to achieve a high school diploma back in 2003. Ever since, the standards got lower and lower by the year. Today, to get a high school diploma, you would need to pass tests, such as, "Circle the 's' letters in this sentence."

Of course, I would expect to see them protest in contradiction. Of course, I would also expect them to believe they're clever by disagreeing with anything an older generation states including their pronouns.
