I am so terrified of getting cancer and it is the biggest source of health anxiety for me

It doesn’t help that my tik tok feed is full of videos of young people dying of stage 4 metastatic cancer either. It is so paralyzing to even think about getting diagnosed with cancer.

There is no other way to describe cancer other than being served a death certificate ahead of time, while you’re alive. You’re not only served with a guarantee of an untimely and soon to come death but also that you will gravely suffer henceforth—physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

I cannot deal with it. I am far too weak to deal with cancer and it would 100% be the end me the moment a diagnosis ever comes. Health anxiety SUCKS!

I had health anxiety I had heart problems and got my mum to take me to hospital one night cos I was having bad chest pains and scared it could be a heart attack lol. Anyway I had the chest pains for a few weeks and later had an echocardiogram but nothing wrong
